Born in the small third-world country of Guyana and immigrating to the United States at just 11 years old, I always knew I was meant to be an entrepreneur. Even at a young age, I thought outside the box—I never saw myself confined to a traditional 9-to-5 job.
A decade ago, I founded a commercial cleaning company. While that venture marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, my true passion has always been in real estate. Watching my father come to America and successfully invest in duplexes in Maryland inspired me deeply. I knew that if I gained the right knowledge and skills, I achieve the same—and more.
So I went to work to truly empower others, especially first-time home buyers, I invested time and energy into learning real estate, mortgage lending, and credit repair.
• In 2006 I started investing in real estate.
• In 2021 I took a bold step into commercial real estate after purchasing my first nail salon—fulfilling a dream I had since the age of 16.
• I now provide hard money lending services for property renovators, helping to maximize profits and improve their communities.
• I proudly served as Vice President of The Lupus Foundation.
• I am also Founder of the Florida Business Community, a network created to uplift, support, and connect entrepreneurs across the state.
My journey has been anything but ordinary. It’s a testament to grit, vision, and the belief that no dream is too big when paired with the right mindset and action.

I was born in Charleston SC. Been in St Petersburg since age 8. I got the gift for music from my grandmother, who pushed me into music. I started singing in church at the age of 6 and fell in love with singing jazz.
God is art. Most artists have a story that is deep. I created festivals and events that grew into my proudest moment: at age 33, I sold a smaller building that was my own to joined forces with investors to have a bigger palace (9,000 sq. ft. warehouses the investors and I flipped into The Jazzy Gallery art gallery, theatre room, fashion show, and event space) for me to broker the sales of my friend’s art..
Being a black female among investors can be traumatizing. Business is ruthless and people get off on sabotaging/ruining you. The challenge of being an artist doing business is not being taken serious until one gets assertive.
I connected with community leaders to provide community housing for artists.
Then the hurricane destroyed gallery and devastated communities and the economy, especially closest to the beach.
I have been featured in NY Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week, and modeling and singing as Diana Ross cover artist in Atlanta. I entered Miss Corporate America to become Miss St Petersburg FL.
My jazz album “Jazzy” is finishing in June.

"Years before I founded Hot Momma’s LLC in 2021, my grandpa and dad bought storage units and sold stuff on Saturdays. They gave me a trailer to take over the operation; and I’ve been banging it out ever since. I picked up toilets. I chipped my nails on stuff. My friends laughed at me. They didn’t’ see my vision. I wanted more out of it. I didn’t want to lose. Their laughter motivated me to make it happen.
After 11 years of marriage, I was a divorced single mom; and I had to make it work. Grandma said if you have a trade then you will always have money. I've been a cosmetologist, nail tech, and home daycare. I built the hauling business on evenings and weekends by myself: from sleeping on my brother’s couch to buying my grandmother’s house.
I’m a cheerleader that amps people up. I enjoy networking with like-minded people; and I acquired many of my customers by handing out business cards, word-of-mouth, and referrals. One day my crew of moms earned the phrase “bunch of hard working hot mommas” from a customer duting a time when there were no women doing demolition. The name stuck and Hot Mommas LLC demolition and junk removal was born.
I like to mess stuff up and play in dirt. No matter what it is, whatever you like, you can turn it into a job. My motto is “No Excuses”. Today Hot Mommas LLC employs 10 (6 guys, 4 girls) and sub-contractors to do: home repairs; home demolitions, hauling; property maintenance; and I recently added real estate investment properties to my portfolio.
However, at the end of the day, I am a minimalist. As I share this story I am relaxing on a 90-acre family farm drinking water from a river. I am blessed to have been raised in a hands-on family.

As humans we are part of a collective on this planet. Most fulfillment is found in service to others.
I was at top of crash cocktail industry in New York (Culinary Institute, etc). I was featured in foodie magazine, and I dreamt of owning a venue; but as I grew as an artist and spiritual, I realized that the venue field wasn’t healthy for me.
It was great to be welcome to do events and perform; and noticed that events in Tampa Bay are not inclusive. My events team make conscious efforts to include artist of color and pay performers well.
Areas are getting highly gentrified. I got a lot of love on the south side while, at the same time, some didn’t want a white person in the neighborhood.
The more that I lived in mostly white spaces, I was like “no”. I’m a white girl who grew up in Queens, NY. My mom is an Irish immigrant. My dad is 5th generation Irishman. My first friends were Latin and Muslims.
Growing up and visiting the homes of friends from different parts of the world is an invaluable experience.
I earned my degree in Sociology with a concentration in Black Studies. I need to immerse myself in a space of diversity that I want to experience. I lost followers on social media because of my comments about the need to engage in conversation about race relations in Tampa Bay.
Upon first freestyle with Brooklish in college, my poetry became rap. I recently helped open a bar 4 days a week and now I’m producing for myself. I’m connected with events around the world and grateful to able to live as a musician and as an artist.
When music is part of your soul calling, you self-experience God in your body. My journey has been a following of God in my body.
